SignPost Solutions exhibit at GULF TRAFFIC DUBAI December 2014

Following their huge success at Intertraffic in Amsterdam earlier in the year SignPost Solutions (SPS) took the decision to expand their export drive to the Middle East by exhibiting for the first time at the regions premier traffic and highways event; GULF TRAFFIC.

Held each year at the Dubai World Trade Centre the expo attracts visitors and delegates from every country in the region and beyond. As with Intertraffic, SPS exhibited their new Self Righting Reflective Bollard, ‘SPS 3Sixty’ and passively safe sign post, ‘Optimast’ and both proved to be of great interest all week.

During a post-show review the SPS export team noted over 130 enquires, numerous trial orders and a host of potential new partners so it was a case of ‘trade ‘ mission accomplished!

SignPost Solutions exhibit at Intertraffic Amsterdam

SignPost Solutions exhibited at Intertraffic  Amsterdam for the first time in March 2014. The exhibition was a huge success for both the SPS 3Sixty and Optimast products with a number of orders and partnerships generated from the show for both products.

NEW product Launch – Optimast

NEW product Launch – ‘Optimast’ – a new name in passive safety.

Optimast is a new range of passively safe sign masts from Signpost Solutions, the UK’s leading provider of passive solutions since 1996.

The development and introduction of Optimast was the result of 2 years intense research into the needs of the passive sign post market and plugs a gap in the company’s ability to commercially meet the requirements for certain bending capacities which in the past would have necessitated a largely over engineered design.

The result of SignPost Solutions endeavour is a highly competitive range of masts, which are available often ex stock, from the company’s facility in Tipton, UK.

Optimast was crash rested in the UK at the Motor Industry Research Association (MIRA) testing grounds in Nuneaton to BS EN 12767 and achieved the highest safety accreditation, 100 NE3. Additional strength testing was undertaken at Coventry University to facilitate a bespoke design programme.

Traditionalists will be pleased to note that Optimast is a round aluminium extrusion and the standard dimensions 102mm, 127mm, 168mm, 219mm and 244mm allow standard fixings diameters and post caps to be used which is another cost saving consideration that will benefit customers.
