Charity Hike

Our northern sales engineer Matt Wilks and 10 of his friends and family recently completed the Bob Graham round for the charity; mind. The four day hike in the Lake District involved 42 peaks and was over a distance of 66 miles.

The gruelling challenge was completed in June and thanks to support from customers, friends, family and employers the team raised in excess of £4000 for the charity and in memory of one of their close friends who took his own life in December 2015.

Manchester Metro Network use the SPS 3Sixty

The SPS 3Sixty bollard is to be used on the Manchester Metro Network to vividly identify areas of ‘no entry’ for vehicles, whilst also ensuring a pedestrian can’t get trapped between the tram and the bollard due to the flexibility of the SPS 3Sixty.

Previously at this location there was two tram only signs mounted on steel posts and it wasn’t uncommon for these signs to be missed and vehicles to continue on the metro line putting themselves and the occupants of the tram in potential danger.

The use of the SPS 3Sixty bollard in this manor highlights the potential numerous applications the product has, from highways to commercial car parks to information boards.
