The New SPS 468 is Here

NEW SPS 468 is Here

The new SPS 468 Chevron range has now been launched and orders are already starting to come in.

The team at SPS wanted to bring to market something unique and different to what is already available.

The focus, as always, is to deliver a high quality lasting product, one that is safe for the driver if involved in a RTA and one that offers a cost effective solution to the customer.

Once again the team have delivered, ticking all of these boxes.

During design stage we engaged with many of our customers to understand exactly what issues they currently have. We also met with the DFT in London to ensure everything we did would meet current standards and regulations.

The SPS 468 Chevron is installed using a socket system which means if hit, the product can be easily and quickly replaced without having to replace the foundations.

The aluminium SignStr8 posts ensures the Chevron can be angled in the socket to meet the best viewing angle for the driver, and once installed the sign cannot rotate on the post.

The aluminium SignStr8 post is available in both 76mm and 89mm diameter.

Another large project is due to be completed within the next couple of weeks and updates on this will be available.

The Rejuven8 enables the post to be installed utilising the old foundations of a previously installed post. Click to view further details.

Highways England Area 1 team at Kier recently needed to update the signage on over 160no lay-bys across the network.

They decided to use the SPS Signstr8  and also the SPS Rejuven8 coupled with Signstr8 to complete the task.

The Rejuven8 was used where existing posts had previously been installed saving the client both time and money to install the new posts.

With all posts having Signstr8 means the signs will not be able to rotate keeping them visible at all times. With its unique design Signstr8 utilises a flat edged post but is held up with conventional 76mm round fixing clips.

To understand more on the benefits of either the Rejuven8  or the Signstr8 range please call a member of the team who will be happy to help.

New Universal Baseplate

SignPost Solutions are proud to be launching another new product into the traffic market.

Aimed at saving the customer money and making life easier for the installer whilst not compromising on quality  is something our customers have come to expect.

For years each size traffic post has had an individual baseplate to suit, but the team at SPS have created a single sized baseplate covering  11no different post sections.

This means customers need to order and carry less stock and at a single price point the new universal baseplate offers considerable cost saving potential.

The new baseplate covers circular post sections of 48mm, 60mm, 76mm, 89mm, 102mm, 114mm and 127mm.

It also covers square section posts of  50mm x 50mm, 60mm x 60mm, 75mm x 75mm and 80mm x 80mm.

Please contact our office on 0121 506 4770 or your local Area Manager to find out more.

Traffex 2017

SignPost Solutions enjoyed another successful TRAFFEX exhibition 4-6 April at the NEC, Birmingham.
Being integrated as part of the SWARCO Stand the company enjoyed an enviable position within the hall giving plenty of opportunity to showcase some of our products.

The star of the show was  the new  Passively Safe Optimast 400 mast, which has been designed to be the strongest passive product available. Local Authority Engineers, Design Consultants and Sign Installers all universally agreed that the Optimast 400 offers a new dimension to passive safety with the unique design and cost saving potential.

Other products which generated a lot of interest was the SPS 3Sixty traffic bollard and the SPS 2Twenty bollard which is aimed at cycle networks and car parks.

The team for the show which consisted of Martyn Rich, Dennis Crumpton, Matthew Wilks, Suzanne Lloyd, Tim Daly and Chris Nicklin will all now be busy following up on the many leads and contacts made during the course of the three days.
